
Nicolaos A. Macropoulos
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Non-Executive Member
Nicolaos A. Macropoulos was born in New York and studied at the London Academy and the University of Leeds. In 1970, was initiated into the field of private insurance by commencing his career first in London and later in Athens, where in 1993 he founded his own insurance group, which included EUROPE Insurance and its subsidiary NIMA Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers S.A.
NIMA was the first company in Greece to be recognized as an authorized Binding Authority correspondent of LLOYD’S OF LONDON for non-marine insurance. In 1998, Ethniki Insurance entered the shareholding structure of EUROPE Insurance, acknowledging its solvency, reputation, and growth potential, maintaining a minority stake until June 2021. In May 2025, EUROPE Insurance was acquired by EUROPE Holdings, a company of the Intracom Group, with Mr. N. Macropoulos assuming the role of Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, while in August 2025 he was elected Chairman of EUROPE Holdings.
Beyond his entrepreneurial activities, Nicolaos Macropoulos has demonstrated significant contributions to the private insurance sector. In 1973, he was first elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (H.A.I.C.), and during 1978–1980 he served as Secretary General of the Association of Insurance Company Representatives. He also served as Chairman of the Committee on International & Public Relations (2012–2013). In addition, he has been elected twice as a Member of the Executive Committee of the H.A.I.C., for the term 2009–2011, and was re-elected in April 2025 for the 2025–2026 term.
The year 1988 was a milestone in his career, as he became a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Brokers, where between 1992–1994 he was elected President, and in 1994 was named Honorary President in recognition of his contribution to the institution of insurance brokerage. Furthermore, between 1994–2003 he served as Chairman of the Association of Lloyd’s Brokers Representatives in Greece, and for many years was an elected member of the H.A.I.C. Board of Directors.
His leadership has been recognized with awards such as “Leader in the Greek Insurance Market” (2018) and “Distinguished Leader in Greek Insurance Mediation” (2021), while in 2024 he received the “Honorary Title – Insurance Awards Filippos Morakis 2024.” He has also served as Vice President of Panathinaikos Athletic Club and as a Board Member of Panathinaikos F.C., while in 2014 he was appointed Vice President of the Hellenic-British Chamber of Commerce.
Alongside his insurance career, in 2019 he participated in the municipal elections, during which he was elected Municipal Councilor of the City of Athens with Kostas Bakoyannis’ coalition “ATHINA PSILA” and was appointed Deputy Mayor of Development, Enterprise & Investments .
Mr. N. Macropoulos is married to Katleen Wagner, with whom he has a daughter, Lavinia, while from his previous marriage he has two children, George and Maria.

Dr. Dimitrios Klonis
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Executive Member
Dr. Klonis holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London. He has received a number of educational awards and scholarships from the Greek Government, the Bank of Greece, and the “Alexander S. Onassis” Foundation. Dr. Klonis served as a Senior Economist in the Research Department of the Bank of Greece until March 1994, as a Professor at Deree College (1987-1997) and as a Member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the Mayor of Athens (1990 to 1992).
Dr. Klonis joined INTRACOM in April 1994, he is Member of the Board of Directors since October 1995, and, ever since, member of SEV’s General Council as well. He has served as General Manager, Finance & Administration (1994-2004), as Executive General Manager of the Corporate Center (2005-2006), as Executive Director, Group Financial Management (2006-2011) and as Vice-Chairman & Deputy CEO (2011-2013).
In January 2014 he was appointed Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS and Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS’ subsidiaries (namely INTRASOFT INTERNATIONAL, INTRAKAT, INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS/IDE and HELLAS ONLINE), which place he held until December 2018. He was also a Member of the BoD of INTRALOT (1995-2020). From July 2016 until December 2018 he also served as INTRACOM HOLDINGS Chairman and CEO and from December 2018 until December 2022 as Vice Chairman and CEO.
Following the successful transformation of INTRACOM to an investment company, in January 2023 Dr. Klonis was appointed Vice Chairman of INTRACOM HOLDINGS BoD and Chairman of the BoD of EVROPI HOLDINGS, INTRADEVELOPMENT, KOUFONISIA HOTEL & RESORT, whilst remaining Chairman of the BoD of KEKROPS S.A. since 1999.
In July 2024 he was appointed 1st Vice Chairman of EUROPΑ INSURANCE.

John H. Papavasileiou
Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member
Mr. Papavasileiou, with more than 25 years of professional experience, is the Founder of KPC FINANCE, a firm specializing in providing services across a wide spectrum of the financial sector, with an impressive portfolio of successful projects in the M&A sector, in financial management, the implementation of growth and profitability plans, and complex corporate restructurings.
He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Evropi Holdings. In addition, he has been a Board Member of INTRACOM HOLDINGS since 2022, while since September 2024 he holds the position of Executive Vice Chairman.
Since 2021, he is a Board Member of the Real Consulting Group, where he is holding the role of its financial advisor since 2011. Furthermore, he has served as CFO of major and internationally recognized Greek groups/companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, and for over 17 years he is successfully leading large-scale acquisitions, mergers, and capital increases, thereby gaining extensive experience and expertise.
Mr. Papavasileiou was born in 1976 and holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Patras, Greece.

Dimitris Theodoridis
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member
Dimitris Theodoridis, with more than 22 years of experience in senior leadership roles across the fields of investments, technology, real estate development, and infrastructure, leads organizations in highly complex environments with a focus on strategic planning, investment management, and business development. He currently serves as a Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Europe Holdings S.A., Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors at INTRALOT S.A., as well as Vice Chairman of Intracom Holdings S.A. and Intracom Ventures S.A., actively contributing to strategic decision-making and the evaluation of investment opportunities in rapidly evolving sectors.
In the past, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intradevelopment S.A., undertaking the design and implementation of the company’s overall investment and operational strategy in the real estate sector. He also held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at AKTOR S.A. (formerly Intrakat), playing a key role in the development of technical and energy projects. His professional background also includes a series of senior executive positions at INTRALOT S.A., where he contributed to the Group’s global expansion in the fields of information systems and gaming technology. Additionally, he served as Technical Director at Olympiacos Football Club, overseeing the strategic planning of the football department, player transfers, and the organization of the technical staff. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University (Boston, USA).

Konstantinos S. Kokkalis

Vice Chairman of Intracom Holdings, Chairman and CEO of Intracom Ventures since December 2022, Chairman of Intracom Aviation since February 2023, Member of BoD of Evropi Holdings since August 2025. He also served as Member of BoD of Intracom Defense-IDE until June 2023, Vice Chairman of Intradevelopment until May 2023, Chairman of the BoD of Intrasoft International until October 2021, when its acquisition by the Danish Netcompany Group was completed, as well as Vice Chairman of the BoD of Intrakat until July 2021, CEO of Intracom Holdings until July 2016 and prior to that, as the company’s Deputy CEO and Business Development Executive. Before joining Intracom Holdings he served as Corporate Strategy Director, Deputy Executive Officer and CEO of Hellas Online until November 2014, when the company was acquired by Vodafone Greece. Since 2014 served as an elected member at the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) as well as Chairman of SEV’s Innovation Committee up to 2022. He holds a BSc degree in International Relations and Economics from Boston University and an Executive Graduate Diploma in Finance from Columbia University.

Lavinia Ν. Macropoulou
Non-Executive Member
Lavinia Macropoulou has an extensive academic background with an international focus. She is a graduate of the German School of Athens and completed her undergraduate studies in Global Business Management at Coventry University with Distinction.
She then earned an MSc in International Management from King’s College London, while also attending a Political Economy program at the University of Oxford. Her studies focus on strategic management, international finance, and market governance, providing her with a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective in the field.
Her professional experience spans a wide range of the insurance and reinsurance sectors, with positions at companies such as Lloyd’s, Deloitte, AON, and Swiss Re. Since 2023, she has held a leadership role as Head of Reinsurance for Europe, managing complex reinsurance structures and negotiations with international brokers and reinsurers. She has played a vital role in securing reinsurance contracts and enhancing the company’s underwriting capacity, demonstrating technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to take on critical responsibilities under regulatory oversight.

Ioanna Pandi
Independent Non-Executive Member
A graduate Architect Engineer from the National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holder of two Master degrees from University College London (UCL), MSc in Construction Economics and Management, and MSc in Light and Lighting. She is a member of MRICS of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and the Association of Greek Architects (SADAS).
She has twenty-five years of experience across the entire construction sector, including, among other things, the application of contemporary Management/Administration methods (Project/Construction Management, Time-Schedule and Financial Planning, Arbitration Consulting, Contract Preparation and Monitoring, etc.), Project and Program Evaluation, Preparation, Monitoring, and Checking of Building Projects Studies, Real Estate Development, as well as contemporary methods of providing services to third parties.

Chrysoula Xourafa
Independent Non-Executive Member
Chrysoula Xourafa is a lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1998. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds both a Master’s degree and a PhD in Commercial Law.
She has extensive experience in the financial and banking sector, specializing in Financial Law and Corporate Governance issues. She has served for many years as legal counsel at Eurobank Ergasias S.A., as well as for investment institutions and listed companies, providing specialized legal services on corporate and financial law matters

Konstantinos Georgaras
Independent Non-Executive Member
Konstantinos Georgaras was born in Kleisto Arta. He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a Masters Degree from the Hellenic Company for Business Administration (EEDE). He is an independent non -executive member of the Board of Directors of Global Money Managers Ltd as well as the B&F SA Industrial and COMMERCIAL CLOTHING COMPANY and has served as Director of the Bank of Greece Credit System Supervisory System, as well as Consultant for Supervisory and Audit Issues. He has also served as a representative of the Bank of Greece in the Council of Quality Audit of the Accounting Standardization and Audit Committee, as well as a member of Authority for Combating Money Laundering.
