Dr. Dimitris Klonis,

President of the Board of Directors, Executive Member

Dr. Klonis holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London. He has received a number of educational awards and scholarships from the Greek Government, the Bank of Greece, and the “Alexander S. Onassis” Foundation. Dr. Klonis served as a Senior Economist in the Research Department of the Bank of Greece until March 1994, as a Professor at Deree College (1987-1997) and as a Member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the Mayor of Athens (1990 to 1992).

Dr. Klonis joined INTRACOM in April 1994, he is Member of the Board of Directors since October 1995, and, ever since, member of SEV’s General Council as well. He has served as General Manager, Finance & Administration (1994-2004), as Executive General Manager of the Corporate Center (2005-2006), as Executive Director, Group Financial Management (2006-2011) and as Vice-Chairman & Deputy CEO (2011-2013).

In January 2014 he was appointed Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS and Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS’ subsidiaries (namely INTRASOFT INTERNATIONAL, INTRAKAT, INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS/IDE and HELLAS ONLINE), which place he held until December 2018. He was also a Member of the BoD of INTRALOT (1995-2020). From July 2016 until December 2018 he also served as INTRACOM HOLDINGS Chairman and CEO and from December 2018 until December 2022 as Vice Chairman and CEO.

Following the successful transformation of INTRACOM to an investment company, in January 2023 Dr. Klonis was appointed Vice Chairman of INTRACOM HOLDINGS BoD and Chairman of the BoD of EVROPI HOLDINGS, INTRADEVELOPMENT, KOUFONISIA HOTEL & RESORT, whilst remaining Chairman of the BoD of KEKROPS S.A. since 1999.

In July 2024 he was appointed 1st Vice Chairman of EUROPΑ INSURANCE.


Sotiris E. Bakagiannis

CEO – Executive Member

Mr. Bakagiannis is a Graduate Civil Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (1998) and holds an MBA in International Business & Management (2003) from Cass Business School (City University London).

He has twenty years of experience in the construction and development of large sectors. In the period 2007-2015, he was a Development Director in investment funds focusing on the development of commercial real estate (shopping centers-offices-hotels-residential) in Greece and Eastern Europe.

From 2016 he took over as General Manager of INTRADEVELOPMENT  and made significant investments in the tourism sector and he later became General Manager of the Real Estate department of INTRAKAT. He has been a founding member of INTRACOM PROPERTIES and CEO since September 2022 , whilst in May 2023 he had been appointed CEO to KLM S.A. Following the merger of INTRACOM PROPERTIES and KLM S.A. , Mr. Bakagiannis is the CEO of EVROPI HOLDINGS while he also holds positions in BoD’s of companies where INTRACOM HOLDINGS Group is stakeholder.


John H. Papavasileiou

Vice Chairman of the Board – Non-Executive Member

Mr. Papavasileiou with more than 24 years of professional experience, is the Founder of KPC FINANCE, which provides specialized solutions in a wide framework in the financial sector, with an impressive track record on financial management, driving profitable growth and implementing complex corporate restructuring.

Since 2021, Mr. Papavasileiou serves at Real Consulting Group as a BoD member and since 2011, as an advisor. In addition, he has served as the CFO of large and well-known group of companies in Greece, listed in ATHEX, and has led major successful projects for acquisitions, mergers and capital increases. He has been involved in positions of financial executive leadership over 15 years in companies of different industries, obtaining great experience and know-how.

Member of INTRACOM HOLDINGS BoD since 2022, in September 2024 he was appointed Executive Vice President. He has served as Vice-Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM PROPERTIES, as well as Vice-Chairman of KLM SA. Since November 2024, Mr. Papavasileiou is Vice Chairman of EVROPI HOLDINGS BoD, the company that resulted from the merger of INTRACOM PROPERTIES with KLM SA.

Mr. Papavasileiou was born in 1976 and he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Patras in Greece.


Violetta Lappa

Non-Executive Member

A graduate of the Department of Business Administration and Marketing at Athens University of Economics and Business, with postgraduate studies at University College London and an Executive MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business. From 1999 to 2001, she worked at PriceWaterhouse Coopers in the Business Consulting department. From 2001 to 2007, she worked in various departments of the I. Koukinas – I. Lappas Group. Since 2007, she has been the Commercial Director of the Early Learning Centre network for Greece and the Balkans, and since 2014, the Commercial Director of the entire Mothercare & ELC store network.

She served as the CEO of the company from December 2019 to May 2023. Since 2024, she has been the CEO of the company ‘Wondernest’.


Ioanna Pandi

Non-Executive – Independent Non-Executive Board Member

A graduate Architect Engineer from the National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holder of two Master degrees from University College London (UCL), MSc in Construction Economics and Management, and MSc in Light and Lighting. She is a member of MRICS of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and the Association of Greek Architects (SADAS). She has twenty-five years of experience across the entire construction sector, including, among other things, the application of contemporary Management/Administration methods (Project/Construction Management, Time-Schedule and Financial Planning, Arbitration Consulting, Contract Preparation and Monitoring, etc.), Project and Program Evaluation, Preparation, Monitoring, and Checking of Building Projects Studies, Real Estate Development, as well as contemporary methods of providing services to third parties.


Theodoros Karavias

Non-Executive – Independent Non-Executive Board Member

A graduate of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems Management from the Economics Department of Hertfordshire University, with a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Greenwich University (United Kingdom). He is a certified Investment Advisor by the Bank of Greece. From 2004 to 2012, he served as an executive at Marfin Egnatia Bank, specializing in wealth management, providing Investment Advisory services, and trading in financial instruments. Since 2012, he has been an Investment Advisor and a linked representative of the Hellenic-American Securities Company (A.E.P.E.Y.).


Benetatou Anthodesmi-Maria

Chief Financial Officer – Executive Member

A graduate of the Department of Business Administration and Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Certified in International Accounting Standards and holder of a Class A Accountant-Tax Specialist license. She has been employed at the company since 1996 as an accountant, and since 2008, she has held the position of Chief Financial Officer.
